Testimonials

Carol Wenke is very calm; she listens to you and delivers exactly what you ask for. Besides being her friend before becoming her client—which could have complicated the professional relationship—I am quite difficult to deal with. I change my mind all the time and want everything exactly as I imagined. Yet, Carol always remains calm, and with her unique way, she brings harmony to everything. She is also very honest, and if something isn't going to look good, she tells you clearly. She has a great ability to interact with clients. She doesn’t impose her projects or style; she listens and engages in conversation.
She helped my husband transform an apartment that seemed unfeasible due to its poor layout into a charming little home, all while sticking strictly to the budget. She was very professional—staying within budget while working with excellent suppliers. She meets deadlines. She has a very special way of handling clients. My husband says she has the patience to listen to her clients, great taste, and excellent ideas. I have worked with other architects and decorators before, and it didn’t work out—it ended in arguments. Even though Carol is a friend and we are close, she maintains her professionalism, and it never affected our friendship.
We have used her services for three projects, and all of them turned out great, which is why I hired her again. I have complete confidence that if Carol approves something, it will turn out well. And the opposite is also true—if she says something won’t work, I trust her and drop the idea because I know it won’t be successful.
One of the projects was a very old apartment that we had to completely renovate. As I mentioned, my husband thought it was an unworkable space due to its poor layout. With Carol's help, the apartment became beautiful, cozy, and functional. We managed to fit everything essential into a small 55m² apartment.
Another project was an office. It was a cluttered storage room, which we transformed into a beautiful office with a stunning custom-designed bookshelf by Carol. It makes a huge difference for me when working from home. My home office became a much more enjoyable space. I love working there—it is extremely functional, with space for everything. In fact, the room became multifunctional. We turned a messy storage room into an office/TV room/guest room for a couple. No matter how it’s used, it remains highly functional and comfortable. And beautiful!
The most recent project was my living room. I wasn’t happy with it. I wanted an entryway, which seemed impossible due to the room's layout. With Carol's help, we managed to create a partition, designed by her, that serves as the entryway I always wanted. Now, there’s a space for guests to remove their shoes, with a beautiful bench/shoe rack, also designed by Carol. When you open the door, people no longer have a direct view of the living room, and shoes are no longer scattered in a corner.
Additionally, I had an unattractive bookshelf that made my living room look dull. Carol designed a new one that made the space look elegant. It doesn't even feel like the same room! My living room used to be uninspiring, dragging the whole apartment down. With Carol’s help, I now have a sophisticated and much more functional space, complete with an entryway. I used to dislike my living room, but now I love coming home, opening the door, and admiring my new space—always thinking about new décor items to make it even more beautiful. Most importantly, it is an incredibly cozy living room. It was never meant to be just a showroom—it’s the most used space in our home as a family. We use it for meals and for watching TV, so it had to be beautiful, yet highly functional and comfortable. And we achieved that!
