About us
Our Story
Together since 1996 and married since 2005, Luiz and Carol are proud parents to two daughters, Maria Fernanda and Maria Clara.
Their professional journey hasn’t been short of unconventional, having both started their careers in very different fields: Carol with a degree in Dentistry and Luiz as an Economist working for major corporations. Luiz went on to obtain a master’s degree in Business Management, as well as completing other MBAs and executive programs in Brazil and Portugal.
In 2007, Carol discovered her passion for interior design. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Candido Mendes University of Interior Design in Rio de Janeiro, and went on to become a licensed architect. With an impeccable eye for design, Carol has amassed over 15 years of expertise in renovations and bespoke interior design projects.
The couple moved to Portugal in 2018 and founded CW Arquitetura e Interiores the following year. The studio has since completed projects in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Florianópolis, Texas, Paris, and across the Lisbon metropolitan area.

Turnkey Projects - A full service offering, where we handle every stage of the project, from helping you ideate your vision to delivering a fully furnished home. Your home will be ready for you to step in and enjoy, with fresh towels, made-up beds, bottled water in the kitchen, and floral arrangements to welcome you.
New-Build Projects - Ideal for clients with a property under construction. Our service provides guidance in selecting finishes, determining electrical and plumbing points, ceiling adjustments, and lighting layouts to personalize your new home.
Renovations - For clients looking to elevate a specific area, we offer localized renovations, such as upgrading kitchens, expanding bathrooms, removing walls to create larger spaces, flooring updates, electrical rewiring, and more.
Custom Carpentry Design - Whether you envision a bespoke media unit, the perfect bed panel, or a unique dining console table, we can help you design and oversee the creation of your custom piece. Always under the supervision of our architect, we have delivered beautifully crafted one-of-a-kind carpentry, tailored to our clients’ high standards and refined taste.
Storage & Logistics - We receive and store your furniture and appliances in our warehouse prior to installation. We handle quality checks and manage returns if necessary, ensuring a smooth process without inconveniences.
Transport & Installation - We oversee the transportation, assembly, and final setup of all items in the client’s space, ensuring a seamless installation process.
Property Management - If you own a property in Lisbon that remains unoccupied for part of the year, we offer comprehensive property management service. We conduct regular inspections to ensure the property’s maintenance, including preventive and corrective repairs, monitoring for leaks, mold, and other issues, as well as handling any administrative services. We ensure your property remains in impeccable condition, ready for your return. We also act as your local representative, to coordinate any necessary actions on your behalf, giving you complete peace of mind.
